It is my prayer to help decrease homelessness, despair, and incarceration by providing support and upliftment to at-risk youth aged 12 to 17 who are dealing with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, medical issues, behavioral challenges, and teen pregnancy. I offer a nurturing and inclusive home with continuous support and supervision. I will champion my “beloved ones," impart essential life skills, encourage self-discovery and purpose, and aid them in achieving their highest well-being through the development of leadership skills, education, and training.
My name is Linda, and Halili was created from my 32 years of experience in the federal prison system. Throughout my journey, I had the opportunity to connect with offenders nationwide. A notable insight I gained was an alarming number of inmates who had previously been in foster care or had faced neglect. This understanding ignited a passion in me to prevent, support, and advocate for at-risk youth, helping to guide them away from incarceration and equipping them with the essential resources to succeed, one youth at a time.
